Recommended Music Courses Summaries
Music
Theory
Of course we recommend our own music theory course and monthly music course for the beginner to intermediate student as the best available straight
music theory instruction that helps you "get it down cold" in
under one year for what normally takes 3 to 5 years.
It is not specifically geared to any instrument, but is biased to the
piano and keyboard as the instruction medium because of the visual
nature of the keyboard and staff.
It is designed to work the theory of
music and not the technique of an instrument. It is a great companion
to any other specific instrument course you might be using or if you
are taking direct lessons.
Our series of workshops are included in the full course but if you need
specific help with notes, rhythm, scales, or chords you can get the
individual modules at: Getting It Down Cold
Workshops.
Materials of Music is a new addition to our course materials. Bob Reno is a musician composer, and teacher and has developed an easy to use college level music skills book.
Don't be put off by the college level buzz words. This material has been organized and made easy to understand for all music students. It can be used by the beginning student and advanced student alike. You can see my full description of this remarkable product here: MOM.
